Six frequencies, one pass — from deep bass to high treble
Unlike the standard water eject tone, the deep clean cycles through six frequencies from 200Hz up to 1500Hz, spending ten seconds on each. This band is where the speaker diaphragm moves the most, so each step physically shakes debris of a different size loose from the speaker mesh.
Run a deep clean when your speaker sounds muffled or quieter than it used to, when calls sound distant, or after the standard water eject didn't fully restore clarity. Pocket lint and dust build up gradually, so a monthly pass keeps sound crisp.
Set volume to maximum, remove any case, and point the speaker grill downward. For stubborn build-up, run the sweep two or three times back to back — each pass shakes out a little more. Finish with a soft dry brush across the grill if dust is visible.
